What Horizontal Vessels Are

Horizontal vessels are structures which contain and usually process fluids and span more in the horizontal direction. This class of vessels can be further characterized into two broad categories; horizontal vessels and heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are different from horizontal vessels in general by the dynamic manner with which they operate.
